These guys are so cute! worth the time to cut and sew, and stuff. They'd make a great centerpiece for a shower table or maybe adorn the cake top....they were just too cute to pass on making them...the Animal kingdom Cricut cartridge.

I made this out of foamboard. and painted it with lumiere paints by Jacquard. I plan on doing some other designs .

Now Glue fabric around the edge of foam board. tight. A Stretchy material would work great, I had some cotton so I used it instead. Finish glueing the seams down good and tight. the length need to be long enough to glue up inside bottom inside the hat

This is the brim of the hat. remember it needs to be in uniform with the hat, sew Or glue the two pieces of cloth together , cut out the center .then measure the wire to fit inside the brim. I used 16 gauge wire, for this and for the hat pins.

Now glue the brim as shown..I used fabri-tac glue ..

Next step is to paint the materal black. may need 2 coats.

painted the top inside area, You could stamp designs or add black lace to it

made sach out of some quilt material I had , glued it together, I hate sewing. LOL...

hat pins are wires cut added some E-6000 to the beads for glue, and the larger items are buttons I added to the pins. then bent the wires on the end.

make a tag 10/6 arange everything on the hat... done.... so easy....... takes about 5 hours...

painted white lace dollies faned them and added jem. I Just need a peacock feather, and its done.....

making some progress on cleaning and straighting out my craft room..... so many ideas and fun things out there to buy or make.. So heres the photos of my fiber ,floss and ribbon holders photos tells all..... poster board is the key here and its only a dollar at the Dollar store, cant beat that...

this is saving so much room, you wouldnt belive how awsome this is, instead of searching threw bags for the right colors......

this Is my very first trifold shutter card. Not to shabby, Its a Birthday card for a special boy who loves bugs....... Dragon fly and butterfly are sizzix die cuts , I embossed the paper to give them texture.and some diamond eyes. The other BUGS are from Cricut cartridge Stretch your imagination. I used the tip of a paint brush and rounded the bugs,and placed 3d glue dots under them so you pop out at you more.

I have gotten my order that my wonderful husband bought for me on ebay…. sizzix dies, seasons flowers , the big bird house, a beautiful butterfly. I have this wonderful idea for a centerpiece, that is SCREAMING spring, Easter… I am still working out all the details on this project, as it is mine so I am making my own pattern peices and designing it myself. I also have foam board……. a change from the mat board.. haha ..... I am having way to much fun on this one, I' ve been staying up late at night working on it.

so you know , I had to do it ,she loves rockets too......
well It took some time, because I got hooked up on Treasure madness game on face book….. I hang my head down for shame,… Iam hooked on facebook games….. But I managed to pull away , and work on the k-cup empty COFFEE boxes, to make another Rocket, ….NOTE to self need to drink more coffee need more boxes..hahaaa… well Liz told me her favorite color is purple. its the color of her princess castle. ok heres the rocket………..some cool veiws…..

Now its wait for week end to see how they lkie the Rockets…………….. so much fun.

oh I almost forgot the sharing ribbon…Only have one done but Ill have another before the week -end.

He loves rockets, and asked me to make him some rockets. We make alot of paper airplanes and helicopters, so fun… So he asked me to build a rocket out of cardboard.

So I got busy and built tore apart, rebuilt. and then thought this is looking pretty good. so I took out the paint…. and got busy… Oh and MOM and DAD the paint is Enamel paint for glass dishes, So If it looks tastey it is ok. NON TOXIC…….So here its is…

I hope he loves it……… now to make a girly one, for little miss liz……..

These are so cool, and easy I love them…. Use double sided paper……If you dont have any just glue two pieces of light weight paer together. I like one patterned and one plain color …now cut a large circle out of the glued double sided paper . { I used a saucer for a coffee cup.. experiment with the size. bigger circles taller trees. Now cut the circle in half , and youll have 2 trees ready to fold. Fold in triangle shape of tree then repeate folds as shown in photos………. would love to see your trees and cards….

how to make rosettes, oh so pretty.

how to make paper rosettes, I’ve found that differnt lengths of paper strips will makes a differnt look full or fanned. The width of the paper is differnt so play around to see what you’d like. It depends on if your using them for a larger object or not.like a big gift, or a scrap book page.. All depends on what you like.

First I cut a straight edge ,and then a fancy dancy scissors cut, for a more interesting effect.

Now fold tight accordian style flipping back and fourth, I used my fingers to fold, or you could use a bone folder. If you want a fuller fan ;add more paper strips.{Glue , OH I use FABRI- TAC } could use a glue gun. just need a good glue .

nice tight folds.

now punch out a circle to glue to the bottom side of the rosette. Glue needs to be a strong one so that it wont pop back up. remember to glue the bottom first, You can leave it plain with a small circle on top or decorate with 2 or more circles, of differnt sizes. maybe add a charm on it. explore have fun with it.

I added a button jem to this one , oh so PRETTY…… cant wait to see yours……..

LOVE the new ChildsYear cartrige, it has so many wonderful images... This is a great one.... THUMBS UP.. has a bit of everything on it. Iam starting off with a halloween card.....this card was just pure fun in the making ..using ranger inks ,ribbon, cricut, ISC swirl stamp{masking spots to show swirls. paper bow My own design.cuttlebug embossing folder{which I did in my sizzix mzchine.} dont own the cuttlebug but love the embossing folders.

These are so awsome to make. All you need is a pattern some ink or paint, auhhh even pretty papers whatever your media choice. I love to try them all. so they ll probley be more coming. going to try and design some a bit differnt, so keep looking... Mean while these are my newest...........

orange mask is 4 sheets of cardstock glued then I used an embossing folder in my sizzix.......

this black one is preprinted card stock 4 layers, with highlights of sparkles added.

again this is card stock layered made some flowers with my cricut machine and some were store bought.

these are fun to make I used matt board for this mask, I painted it with lemire paints from A.C.Moore. added feathers and one of my famous polomer clay faces... It also has sparkles and a stick which came from a dollar store place mat ,that I took apart. this was fun, fun,fun.... love to see yours.... Iam making more, I may try doing some with double card stock, glueing extra layers, ..off to play some more...

mat board for face mask. lurmiere paint glitter glue, Hot glue face mold with pearl ex powder. jems are finger nail stickees. sticks{ sticks are from dollar store place mat, tore it apart} fabric flower is dollar tree

I took the JADS Scrapbook challenge
Here's my challenge to you all ~

What a fun group of people there, I always see challenges for Black and white , So one of my birthday presents was paper pack with Black and white and creme colors.. And This worked out well for my cards plus this challenge... I love my cricut!!!!!

Ive been busy making these valentine mail boxes for my grand children, they are so darn cute. I cut the names with my cricut, figured it time to learn how to use it. And wow its so easy to use. That I surprised my self. I used a pattern from Splitcoaststampers. I changed the door and made 2 of the edged pieces for front and back instead of ribbon holes.

Some fun to do while waiting for the ice storms to pass and power to come back. LOL

copy and print the pattern on card stock, then pin prick holes, now use threaded needle and follow holes. Do NOT TIE KNOTS... use tape.. tape down back of threads, to help stop tearing later. glue a paper to back to cover thread and tape. Fold in half...

SO FUN, eazy to do while waiting for power , to come back on. Stay warm all.

Alot of you know that Iam a Designer for http://www.jeansartdolls.com/ And this month we have a great sponcer CROPPINSVILLEI have a box kit to design , with using only there wonderful papers and items in the kit. the only thing I can add is my own photos, I loved working on this kit so much. I highly recomend it. Its so fun, gets you in the creative mood...... This is the fun kit, it has a box pattern which has prints on both sides, ribbons, trims, buttons,rub ons,cut out die cut, lots of fun in this kitI played all day and this is what I came up with. I glued the box lid together, then added a window of plastic, which held the kit inside... then added the rub on words to the window, and attached it to the inside of the box.Then I glued the ribons to the sides of the box, I left the box tabs open and didnt glue them so the box itself opens to show photos. I glued the smaller button to the larger one, then cropped photos of grand children ( my lifes treasures) to insides of buttons. glued buttons and die cut to center and photos on all sides of box. and FINALLY MY PHOTOS so much fun.... THANKS CROPPINSVILLE!!!

well Ive been playing with my face molds, I really love the way the clay ones come out, I also love that you can paint them. I used pearl ex powders on the glue stick molds and the powder stays on pretty well. I used heat set inks on the utee, paints didnt work on the utee but the powders did. All in all I like the clay molds the best. pouring the utee needs to be done in one fast sweep so you dont get lines, it seems to cool fast when pouring. Also using the glue gun I had the same problem I think I need a bigger opening on the gun, so more comes out at once...well heres the photos of them anyways...

My new ISC stamp sheet
Wow what can I say I love Isc stamps so fun to play with.. I came up with this rubber stamp collage idea. so fun, these stamps are perfect for this idea.

rubber stamp collage first stamp and cut out, turn over then collage

collage pieces of paper on to shapes then outline in black.add brown sponged on ink. use stamps ,magazine photos ,computer photos, labels, have fun with it.

Even use it on the envelopes...

wow Ive been playing with these washer necklaces and adding differnt color markers and glitter pens . also black out of some of the back grounds around the girls faces. . They seem to be coming out better the more I do. Iam thinking of doing family childhood photos ..... and more pins also.

well it was just a matter of time! LOL gotta grt J.D. in here some where....
I cut out photos and glued them in a collage. filled the hole in the washer,with a jem,which I colored silver to match. { The other I added glue to the hole as a filler on the back side.} then did sparkle dots with gel pen, and added clear glaze over all. and now just need to add the pin too it. TAAA DA ..

I collaged purple photos added some purple gelly glaze, then coated them in diamond glaze. I love the purple one, they are so pretty.

well I made another washer neck lace this is a bigger washer then usal, its alot of fun. I call it my tie die washer necklace. I glued paper to washer, colored with gel pens, and I added a coat of glossey accent,then let dry, And add another coat, Nowadd to chain or cord...

making Canvas ATCS

. But haha seems Canvas atcs have been around. well I bought some
canvas material at the fabric corner in walmart. and decided to make
some. So this is the newest HO TOO I HAVE TO SHARE WITH ALL...

A mail envelope that I painted over it to use again With metalic paints ,added a paper crow collage too. because they are so fun to make. painted a black tree, with silver sparkle pen accents. Fun , fun,fun! And now I'am on a bird kick. lol

fabric coloring, IT'S OKAY To DRAW ON FABRIC WITH INK!! remember when it wasnt??? haha seemed like I always got ink marks on my school clothes. LOL
coloring a print out of fabric, thats light. I decided to use sparkle glitter pens, after all its just going to be for fabric atcs, no one washes them. they usally go in a book and .... we only take them out look at them and put them away again. So go crazy with this . I even added brillance inks ,...... with a blender pen.
oh and sharpie hair do. I hope you get to do this its alot of fun. try scaning fabrics and using this idea...

made with ad from A.C. moore flyer SPRING FLOWERS then stamped a butterfly out on same flyer and cut out, added papier gloss. for accent. and buttons on craft wire.

I finally finished my fabric post cards, ready to write out and mail. Family has been wanting photos of my grand daughter, so these are what Ive got done so far.
